Our Brief
Consultation
To create a two tier usable garden featuring brick walls, steps, stepping stone paths and patio features, working with existing heights and maintaining all the large and original trees and mature shrubs – as well as screening out all neighbouring properties from all angles. There were some serious obstacles to overcome with regards to access and parking in a city centre – but with careful planning and high levels of communication, appropriate solutions were sought.
Our Design
Transformation
To create fluidity and draw your eye down the garden enjoying all areas of the planting as well as the various water features. Retaining walls were built to house full and luscious herbaceous borders at elevation with lighting to enjoy all aspects of the garden from dusk to dawn.
The Result
Innovation
Our design complemented the existing mature plants perfectly, and all the new young fledglings bedded in well to create a beautiful, traditional, tranquil relaxed retreat.
