Common Questions
Do I need planning permission?
Over 5 square metres of impermeable front-garden surfacing generally does. Permeable block paving or resin-bound normally avoids the need.
Is resin-bound permeable?
Resin-bound is, when laid on a permeable base. Resin-bonded is not the same thing – we will explain the difference on site.
Will salt air affect the driveway?
The surface is fine. Cheap metal edgings and fixings are what corrode, so we specify appropriately.
Can you work on a very narrow frontage?
Yes – small city frontages are routine for us.
